Our History |
Jane B. Lorenz, CPA started her practice as a solo Certified Public Accountant in 1975 in San Diego County. After building great professional relationships over many years, Jane was asked to serve as trustee on several matters.
In 2003, Marguerite Lorenz, Jane's stepdaughter, joined as partner, and together, they formed Lorenz Fiduciary Services, Inc.(LFS) with a staff of 5. Clay Spiegel, CPA, Jane's son, joined as partner in 2009. By 2012, the team had moved into their own building in Temecula, California, while maintaining offices in San Diego and Orange Counties. Noah Benton, Esq., joined the firm in 2016, after serving as an estate planning attorney, and trust litigator. Sadly, Jane passed away in 2017. Marguerite, Clay and Noah took over Jane's matters. Because of Jane's excellent planning, the transition went smoothly. Joseph F. McMackin, Jr., left the Software/Event Organization world to come onboard in 2018, and Ryan Shumacher, Esq., estate planning attorney and bank trust officer joined us in 2019. Now, known as Lorenz Private Trustees, we are looking ahead to a bright future with 5 trustee partners, and 11 support staff. In California, we have offices in San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and Los Angeles Counties. In New Hampshire, our office is in Portsmouth. We look forward to serving you, and your loved ones, with same care and quality we started with in 1975. |
